I've been entering these Chow contests on the NG Art forum with some success. For Chow 20 we were to create our own Jedi Knights. I did a simple concept sketch and won, although it seemed most NG users didn't appreciate the linework and would rather have the eye-candy of a colored + rendered piece, even if things like composition and anatomy weren't that great (sigh).
I skipped Chow 21, but for Chow 22 the subject was "Devil's Advocate", so I spent about 8 hours on my entry, fully colored and rendered. Check it out here

In terms of Flash animations, I dropped all of my 40% completed projects, and JUST STARTED a new animation, which when finished, will be released as part of a dual-feature animation with one of my buddies-pending his ability to meet a reasonable deadline.
